RippleImpact Expands Into Canada
April 10, 2002, Redondo Beach, CA - RippleImpact
announced today the opening of the North East regional
office. The office will be based in Ottawa, Canada.
RippleImpact is a software development company focusing
on custom object oriented applications, and enterprise
Internet software solutions. RippleImpacts corporate
headquarters are based in Southern California. Philosophers
Stone Ventures, the parent company, is a technology
incubator also based in Southern California. The incubators
mission is to work with entrepreneurs and investors
to build profitable companies.
We are very excited to be opening a satellite
location, and this will allow us to have a Canadian
presence, noted Jenny Sakhrani, CFO of RippleImpact.
In addition to this office, we also have offices
in India, thus making our company a true 24/7 operating
company.
President, S. Ramesh, and CFO, Jenny Sakhrani are
Canadian citizens, and founded Philosophers
Stone Ventures in late 1990s. The incubator later
launched RippleImpact and Grayhat Security, a computer
and network security company.
Mr. Ramesh is an experienced CTO, Chief Software
Architect and expert in the management and design
of complex computer systems and software development.
His previous experience includes working for Sprint,
IBM, Goldman Sachs and ClearStream Bank. He is on
several advisory boards for venture fund organizations,
including GKM Ventures and Tech Coast Angels.
Ms. Sakhrani has more than 15 years of experience
in accounting, finance, valuations, business strategy,
operations and mergers and acquisitions. Prior to
Philosophers Stone Ventures, she was the CFO
of Matchcraft.com. As well as being a successful entrepreneur,
she is an active investor in early stage technology
companies and is currently a board member of four
technology companies.
