S. Ramesh Becomes Advisor for GKM Venture Fund

January 28, 2002, Redondo Beach, CA - Mr. S. Ramesh, President of RippleImpact, was invited to become an advisor for GKM Venture Fund, a new exciting venture fund supported by the highly respected GKM investment bank.

GKM Venture Partners is a limited partnership that will provide accredited investors with an opportunity to invest in entertainment/new media convergence plays, communications infrastructure companies, and Internet-related technologies. The target capitalization of the venture capital fund is $60 million, with $20 million set to close in the fourth quarter of 2000. Attracting institutional investors and high net worth individuals with minimum investments of $500,000, the fund will leverage GKM's investment banking and research strengths as well as the firm's wealth of industry relationships.

Mr. Ramesh is an experienced Chief Technology Officer, Software Architect and entrepreneur. He has experience in early stage venture capital, technology incubation, distributed enterprise computing, biotechnology, telecommunications and financial software platforms. He currently sits on the board of five companies in the Internet infrastructure and enterprise software spaces. He is also a frequent speaker and panelist on technology investment and early stage funding in entrepreneurial conferences in southern California.
